What is Pastoral Care Program?
Some churches have a pastor that may be really busy or have a scheduled pastoral turn-over in which the elderly which are shut-in or in nursing homes are forgotten about. Other churches and pastors may want to reach out to their church or others around them and offer spiritual counseling but may either feel unequipped or lack time. Whether it is to show your elderly and shut-in community that they are cared for and to honor their heritage or to be a healing balm to lost and hurting people, our pastoral care program can help give your church additional support without hiring another pastor. We have been trained to minister in diverse housing, circumstances, disease processes, and other counseling and care needs. We seek to offer compassion with hope which helps build faith.
Why is it needed?
According to a recent study, 50% of pastors feel unable to meet the needs of the job. There is an elderly population that is often forgotten about. A study in SC stated that 86% of elderly lack support. Additionally the world has many hurting people both inside and outside of the church. There is opportunity to touch their lives, bring healing, and help them to achieve what God has called them to be. Yet pastors have more demands now then ever. We work along side of the pastors, helping your church show how much you care and helping you to reach out to others.
What does it look like?
There are different options depending upon the needs and wants of your church. Churches may send lists of individuals and contact information and our ministers will arrange times to visit and provide spiritual care to your congregation. Or you may advertise our services to your church and set up appointments that we may serve at your church in an office on days and times agreed upon, serving your congregation and community. We are professional and trained to build up and serve as a support to your church, congregation, and to you regardless of denominational differences.

Who do you serve?
We serve churches with an elderly population but doesn't have the time or resources to visit as much as they would like or that may want a pastoral counseling-type program at their church to reach those within and outside the church.
