What is Pastoral Care Program?
There are other churches in which the pastor may be so busy or
has a scheduled pastoral turn-over in which the elderly which
are shut-in or in nursing homes are forgotten about. These
individuals are part of your church's heritage and our ministers
offer a way for your church to show that they are still cared
for. Our ministers have been trained to minister amidst diverse
housing, disease processes, and circumstances with a compassion
that helps build faith.
Why is it needed?
According to a recent study, 50% of pastors feel unable to meet
the needs of the job. There is an elderly population that is
often forgotten about. A study in SC stated that 86% of elderly
lack support. Yet pastors have more demands now then ever. Our
ministers work along side of the pastors, helping your church
show how much you care.
What does it look like?
For the pastoral care program, churches may send lists of
individuals and contact information and our ministers will
arrange times to visit and provide spiritual care to your
congregation.
Our ministers are professional and trained to build up and serve
as a support to your church, congregation, and to you regardless
of denominational differences.
